Tropical Patterns

I had the great honor of having this painting published in the April/May 2004 issue of The International Artist's magazine as third place winner in their Challenge 20, Flowers and Gardens competition. In addition to this honor, this painting was published by the same magazine in an instructional art book distributed worldwide titled "How Did You Paint That? -- 100 Ways to Paint Flowers and Gardens." This painting, of course, is being retained in the artists' own collection.

Churning Waters -- Alberta Falls

A hike in Rocky Mountain National Park inspired this painting. It is a painting of the lower portion of Alberta Falls which is on the Bear Lake trail. The hike to this falls is only about one mile from the trailhead. This painting is still in my possession.
