Sho-Yo in Chinese means "Most Beautiful." The peony is considered to be the national flower of China.

Working Class

I painted this a few years ago. It is an acrylic painting of two Belgian draft horse beauties that I had seen at the Colorado State Fair pulling close to a ton of weights in a draft horse pulling contest. I no longer have this painting. Despite the tedium, I really enjoyed the challenge of painting the harness and straps.
